Today, 14th July 2020, is the one year anniversary of the Vestengen-Cox wedding.
Looking back through the photos from the day brings back memories of how perfect the day was and how beautiful my wife looked.
A traditional gift for the first year is something cotton or paper. I’m looking forward to the day we get a gift in blue sapphire to mark our 65th anniversary or platinum for 70th.
If anyone was doubting my love for cats, here’s a picture of Madge and me having a cuddle in the morning.
Of my two cats, Madge is the one who is less cuddly. Unless it’s on her own terms. After Ine and I have gone to sleep, she’ll usually creep in the bedroom and up on to the bed and cuddle up for the rest of the night.
Try to put her there yourself and she’ll shoot out of the door like a speeding bullet.

I bought these chino trousers from Zara and am loving the way they look with my Dr Marten’s Persephone Boots. Will be wearing this outfit more once the cold winter weather has subsided and spring is in the air.
